QR Attendance and Automatic Payroll System
How we automated time tracking and payroll calculation at a textile factory using QR codes in 15 working days.
Problem
A textile factory with dozens of employees tracked working hours in a paper register. The accountant manually counted hours, deducted late arrivals and absences, and calculated salaries. The process took several days at month-end, errors were inevitable, and employees regularly disputed their calculations.
Solution
We built an attendance tracking system: each employee scans a personal QR code on arrival and departure. The system automatically counts working hours, logs late arrivals, and calculates salary based on each employee's rate.
Process
Weeks 1-2: process analysis, QR code system development, employee database and attendance module. Week 3: payroll calculation module, reports. Weeks 3.5-4: testing, printing QR codes, staff training, launch.
Result
Payroll calculation now takes minutes instead of several days. Late arrivals and absences are recorded automatically. Salary disputes dropped to zero. Management sees attendance in real time.
“Payroll used to take several days and there were always disputes. Now the system calculates everything — employees have nothing to argue about.”
