How we built an interactive yield calculator for an Islamic investment platform in just 2 days.
Problem
IMAN Invest is a halal investment platform in Uzbekistan. Potential clients found it hard to understand how much they would earn by investing a certain amount for a certain period. Managers explained this over the phone, which was time-consuming and led to confusion.
Solution
We built an interactive yield calculator: users enter an amount and term and see the expected return. Simple, clear interface designed around halal financing principles.
Process
Day 1: requirements discussion, calculation logic and design. Calculator component development. Day 2: website integration, testing, launch.
Result
Calculator launched in 2 days. Conversion on the investment page improved: users see the return themselves and submit an application without calling a manager. Sales team workload decreased.
